Step 1:

Step 2:
click on e-filling 201-2013
click on individual/HUF
click and download ITR-1 (Sahaj) as zip file
It will have one .xls file and one HELP.text file
HELP.TXT file is used to enable the macros in xls.
Step 3:
After enable macros in xls follow below steps.
after enable you will find devloper option in the maun menu.
Fill all personal details in "Income Details" sheet.
In that above sheet "Tax returns" option should be "Tax refundable" or "Nil Tax Balance".
"Income from salary /Pension" option should be filled as mentioned in the "FORM-16--GROSS TOTAL INCOME" VALUE.
"Employment catagery("if in employment")" should be filled as PSU.
Step 4:
Go to TDS sheet
Fill "TAN of the employer details" can get from FORM-16--"tan of deductor" value
Fill "Name of the employer" as your company name.
Fill "Income charagable under head salaries" from "FORM-16--GROSS TOTAL INCOME" VALUE.
Fill "Total tax deducted" from "FORM-16--"TAX DEDUCTED" VALUE.
Step 5:
Fill "Enter your Bank Account Number".
Fill "Select Yes if you want your refund by direct deposit into your bank account, Select No if you want refund by Cheque" as YES.
Fill "MICR Code" as your bank branch.
Fill "Type of Account(As applicable)".
Fill " son / Daughter of " your father name.
Fill "Place" , "Date" and "PAN" details.
Step 6:
Click on "Validate" in the "Income Deatils " Sheet.
Click on "Calculate tax" in the "Income Deatils " Sheet.
Check all the unfilled details are updated automatically as like mentioned in your FORM 16.
Then Click on "xml Generate".
Click on "Save XML button"
It will show the location xml file getting stored.
Step 7:
click on "Assesment year" in the "https://incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in" website.
Choose year and select form name as "ITR-1" with no digital signature.
Click on Next.
Browse and upload the xml.
Get the acknowledgement as PDF file.
Give password as "PAN NUMBER and date of Birth" like AGNPV3388B11071982.
YOU CAN SEE YOUR ITR-V FORM.
Take Print out of that ITR-V form and put your signature and put it in envelope cover with 5 rupees stamp duty.
Send to below address:
Income Tax Department - CPC, Post Bag No - 1, Electronic City Post Office, Bengaluru - 560100,Karnataka”,
by ORDINARY POST OR SPEED POST ONLY, within 120 days from date of transmitting the data electronically. Form ITR-V
shall not be received in any other office of the Income-tax Department or in any other manner. The receipt of this ITR-V at ITD-CPC will be sent toyou at e-mail address.
